About the project
Attendify begins by issuing each worker a rugged NFC smart-card that is paired to their personnel record. At the site gate, a foreman holds a handheld tablet or wall-mounted reader that timestamps every “tap-in” and automatically assigns the worker to the correct crew, shift, and cost centre. If connectivity drops, the device stores events locally and syncs them to the cloud the moment signal returns, so no punches are ever lost.
The same card doubles as a cash-free meal token. At the canteen counter the worker taps again, the point-of-sale instantly pulls up that person’s meal allowance, displays the day’s menu, and debits the chosen items. Because attendance and meal data share a single ledger, the system can enforce custom rules—such as one lunch per shift, diet restrictions, or project-specific per-diem limits—without manual oversight.
Throughout the day Attendify streams encrypted events to a cloud dashboard where managers see live head-counts, late-arrival alerts, canteen sales, and inventory depletion. At day-end a single click exports payroll-ready timesheets, overtime calculations, and a detailed cost breakdown of every plate served. The result is a closed-loop workflow: one card, one tap, one authoritative data source for attendance, meals, and site economics.
